I was born in Pennsylvania but have lived in New Hampshire since I was 3, so that is where I call home.
My first publishing experience was in elementary school when my sixth grade class provided crosswords, word searches and poetry for the Boston Globe Fun Pages. I wrote a poem titled: “Spring.”
In 1998 I had another poem published in an anthology of poems, this one titled: “Where You Look Is Where You Go.”
I met my husband on a blind date. (Fun Fact: My parents also met on a blind date.)
I married my husband twice. We eloped in 1999 and had a fabulous, traditional wedding in 2001.
I have 2 adult stepchildren (boy & girl) and 1 son who started kissing the girls in Kindergarten -- he’s a true romantic, that one.
I have been a member of the New Hampshire Romance Writers of America since 2005. They recruited me onto the board within months of joining and have not allowed me to leave.
The craziest thing I have ever done was walk over a bed of hot coals at an Anthony Robbins seminar.
